Editorial policy
How reviews are researched, who signs them off, and how mistakes get corrected.
Independence
Commercial relationships have no influence on scores, rankings or verdicts. Advertisers are told this before they buy. No company is given a preview of a review, and none has ever been given the right to approve one.
How a review is made
Every review starts from primary sources: the regulator's public register, the broker's own legal documents and fee schedule, and where possible a funded live account. Marketing pages are treated as claims to be checked, not as facts. When a figure cannot be verified independently, the review states that instead of repeating the company's number.
Sources and evidence
Regulatory claims link to the register entry. Cost figures carry the date they were recorded, because spreads and swap rates move. User complaints are weighted by how specific they are: a documented case with dates and a ticket reference counts for more than an anonymous accusation.
Updates and corrections
Reviews show when they were last checked. We re-verify costs and platform details at least twice a year, and immediately when a regulator publishes an action against a company we cover. Corrections are made on the page itself with a dated note; we do not quietly edit and move on.
What we will not publish
Guaranteed-profit claims, signal-selling promotions, and reviews written by the company being reviewed. We also do not remove a critical finding in exchange for payment. If a company asks, we say no, and the request itself may end up in the review.
